- How we can keep our developments accessible
- Performing an audit and reacting to the results
Session 1
10:00 – 11:30 – Introduction into accessibility, responsibility from early project discussions to go live.
This will cover accessibility awareness, design, development, content and social media.
11:30 – 11:45 – Q&A
A chance to ask any questions raised from the awareness

12:00 – 13:00 – Introduction to assistive technology
An overview of what structure means to assistive technology. We will cover how people use certain tools, how we can automate some tests and how they can easily be fooled.
Session 2
10:00 – 11:00 – Design with accessibility
This session will cover accessibility with the design workflow, this will cover:
- Colours
- Fonts
- Layout
11:00 – 11:30 – Q&A
A chance to ask any questions raised and talk through current projects

12:00 – 13:00 – Document accessibility
Here we will use a range of different software packages to make our documents accessible.
Session 3
10:00 – 11:00 – Introduction to automated testing

- Accessibility Insights for Web
- PA11Y
- SortSite
Using a range of different tools we will test a number of websites and review the results that were found.
We will be testing the websites and applications you have been working on and talking as a group about some of the issues found.
11:00 – 11:45 – Mobile testing
Using our devices you will be able to test websites and see the differences between the different devices.

12:00 – 13:00 – Accessibility audit
The inal session we will combine all of our learning and will perform an accessibility audit.
