Today marks a new milestone for HeX Productions, as we welcome a new member of staff to our team!

Jessica Perren sat at desk with laptop.Jess has joined the HeX team as our new Web Apprentice. After living in Aldershot, a town in Hampshire, she went to school in Winchester, and moved to college in Farnham to study graphic design, level 3 IT advanced diploma, and modern history.

More recently, Jess moved to Ilkeston to be close to family after she finished her last apprenticeship with a company called Feed it Back, where she helped to develop a feedback management system which is used in the catering industry.

She has now decided to make the move into the world of web as a result of her passion for computers. Jess finds them extremely easy to use, and thinks they help to make things bigger, better, and more accessible for people with eyesight difficulties and disabilities. She considers herself to be good at design work, and is looking forward to working with dev work.

Jess said: “I am very excited to be a part of the HeX Productions team. The reputation of the company is very good, and they work on some projects that I am really looking forward to being part of. I’m very excited to learn new things and develop my skills in the web industry, and look forward to the challenges ahead.”

Taking our team of 6 to a team of 7, Jess joins us from the 3AAA agency in Nottingham.

Creative Director of HeX Productions James Hall said: “Jess will make a great addition to our team, and we are all looking forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise with her to help her grow her already impressive skillset. Having an apprentice in the office will really help the team to share what they know and get that extra bit of support with projects.”

Outside of work, Jess enjoys playing on computer games, and painting things including her brother’s Warhammer. We can’t wait to see her first project go live!
