9:00 – 9:30 – Accessibility awareness
A brief overview of accessibility awareness to follow up on the session provided internally
9:30 – 10:30 – Introduction to assistive technology
An overview of what structure means to assistive technology. We will cover how people use certain tools, how we can automate some tests and how they can easily be fooled.
We will also demonstrate some quick automated tools that can be used on your browser.
Break
10:45 – 12:00 – Social and content design
This session will look at the full structure of a website and page to see how we can make improvements to the current way of working, this will include:
- Headings
- Links
- Content structure
- Personas
Social media will also be covered with the learnings from the web page content.
12:00 – 12:30 – Wireframe and position planning
Using two wireframes we will discuss how planning your project can be done from the start.
