Even though we had been looking into the accessibility of our site, the audit brought to our attention issues we hadn’t previously considered. Particularly around how some site issues were impacting on screen reader users and causing navigational problems on some components for keyboard-only users.
The audit was very timely as shortly after we were audited by the Government Digital Services.
The training HeX provided was excellent in terms of changing people’s mindsets. Accessibility isn’t an optional extra, but essential in ensuring you are providing good UX for all your visitors.
